Count on quality
Your 1Kelley project team will include undergraduate students from the #1 business school in Indiana. The students are coached and mentored by a Full-Time MBA student and receive regular feedback from faculty experts. The Kelley School and IU have become a powerhouse in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Your team can help you address:
- Business planning
- Entrepreneurial support
- Strategy
- Adapting to change
- Organizational assessments
- Financial documentation and sustainability
- Market research
- Marketing materials and social media
- Operations and supply chain
1Kelley prioritizes clients who are women or underrepresented minorities, as well as enterprises that serve them, because these business owners often lack access and the support needed to fully take advantage of the many resources offered to business owners in Bloomington and the surrounding area.
Client commitment
For our partnership to be successful, clients must communicate consistently with the project team, commit to the consulting process, remain open-minded about adjustments in project scope, and share relevant information with the project team. Specific client responsibilities include:
September–November | Complete a short 1Kelley application and work with the student leadership team and faculty on initial project scoping. |
December–January | Participate in one or two introductory meetings with your 1Kelley project team. |
January–April | Participate in weekly meetings with your project team via phone or video conference, plus regular email and/or social media communication. |
April | Review team’s deliverables in the final presentation and participate in client training if desired. |
