I didn't think that this opportunity 26 00:01:04.425 --> 00:01:06.765 or the Kelly School of Business would be for me. 27 00:01:06.795 --> 00:01:10.365 However, I feel like it's already a great experience 28 00:01:10.425 --> 00:01:11.685 and I'm already becoming a part 29 00:01:11.685 --> 00:01:13.245 of the amazing connections here.

What is an MSM degree?

The Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree is a 12-month program that offers college graduates the business and management training to complement their undergraduate studies. Graduates from this program gain a greater competitive career advantage, faster career progression, and access to one of the world’s largest business school alumni networks.

Is an MSM degree worth it?

An MSM is a great addition to your undergraduate degree because it adds an applicable, real-world business perspective to your business, arts, chemistry, psychology, music, English, public health, philanthropy, sports science, or other undergraduate experience. Advanced business training may increase your earning potential and starting salary.

MSM degree vs MBA?

While both degrees aim to prepare you for career progression in business, each serves a different purpose. An MSM offers graduate-level training in business and management for recent graduates and for those who are just beginning their careers. The MSM is a perfect complement to already completed undergraduate studies to achieve a well-rounded education. An MBA is advanced business training that goes deeper into each field of study, such as marketing, finance, operations, and accounting. An MBA often takes a couple years to complete and is designed for people with several years of post-undergraduate work experience.

Watch the video to see how the MS in Management curriculum enhances a student's nonbusiness background and builds their leadership skills in just one year.
