We prepare our members for the modern workplace, particularly in male-dominated industries, by broadening their understanding of the business world and fostering connections through networking and events. Our core values of education, engagement, and empowerment guide all our activities and inspire us to provide leadership and mentoring for women in business.

 

Women in Accounting

Women in Accounting at Kelley aims to provide members exposure to the accounting industry, including career possibilities that extend beyond accounting and a network of peers and alumni who will mentor every student in their professional journey. In keeping with this ambition, Women in Accounting will enhance the education and experience of its members by instituting a formal network of both undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and corporate contacts. We believe formally organizing a network will not only enhance the education of the Kelley School of Business women students but will strengthen Kelley’s accounting programs and the premier recruiting grounds for companies in search of first-class women accounting students.

Women in Business Technology’s goal is to develop a community of peers who hope to major in technology-focused fields, are looking to gain skills to further their careers, or who have a general curiosity about the intersection of business and technology. We foster an inclusive and educational environment for all students by hosting technology, diversity and inclusion, professional development, and professional and social networking events. Women in Business Technology is specific to our students, alumni, and the Kelley School of Business' mission of supporting women and their endeavors in business.

The Women’s Financial Association is an organization dedicated to promoting the success of women with a passion for finance at Indiana University Bloomington. Our goal is to expose members to financial concepts, provide networking and professional development opportunities, and build lifelong friendships. We hold in-person corporate events throughout the school year, and we send our members to firm visits in Indianapolis, Chicago, and Nashville. By joining the Women's Financial Association, you will open yourself to a network of young women who will support and encourage you on your journey throughout IU and beyond.

Women’s Network members have access to a plethora of resources and opportunities to assist them in reaching their professional and personal goals. The main objectives of the organization are to provide members with a network of peers, faculty, staff, and corporate and alumni women to offer communal support and inspiration, as well as to meet the professional development needs of any woman regardless of major.
