We prepare our members for the modern workplace, particularly in male-dominated industries, by broadening their understanding of the business world and fostering connections through networking and events. Our core values of education, engagement, and empowerment guide all our activities and inspire us to provide leadership and mentoring for women in business.

 

Women in Accounting

Women in Accounting aims to provide members an exposure to the accounting industry, including career possibilities that extend beyond accounting. We host three types of meetings: corporate, professional development, and social. These events expose our members to different firms, prepare them for post graduation through professional development workshops, and connect them with other women at Kelley who also have an interest in business, specifically accounting.

The Women’s Financial Association is an organization dedicated to promoting the success of women with a passion for finance at Indiana University Bloomington. Our goal is to expose members to financial concepts, provide networking and professional development opportunities, and build lifelong friendships. We hold in-person corporate events throughout the school year, and we send our members to firm visits in Indianapolis, Chicago, and Nashville. By joining the Women's Financial Association, you will open yourself to a network of young women who will support and encourage you on your journey throughout IU and beyond.

Through copywriting workshops, meet-and-greets with corporate partners, sales case competitions, and executive speaker sessions, WiMS provides members with hands-on learning and networking opportunities. Our mission is to foster a supportive and ambitious community where members can develop essential skills, build industry connections, and prepare for successful careers in marketing and sales.
