Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for review, students must complete all four requirements:
1. Application timing
Submit your application for admission to Kelley in the second semester (fall or spring) of enrollment on the IU Bloomington campus, Applications submitted after two semesters will not be considered*.
2. Credit hours
Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours of college coursework by the time the application is reviewed. Credits may include any college-level coursework on the transcript, including
- SLST coursework
- AP credit
- IB credit
- Test credit
- Dual enrollment coursework
- ACP coursework
Maintain full-time enrollment at IU Bloomington (minimum of 12 credit hours) in the application semester.
4. Integrated Core prerequisite courses
Complete 17,5 hours total of prerequisite courses. Transferred coursework may count toward these requirements. Use the Credit Transfer Service and IU Intercampus Transfer to learn how your coursework may transfer.
Required courses:
- BUS-A 100 Basic Accounting (1 credit)
- BUS-C 104/106 Business Presentations (3 credits)
- BUS-K 201/204 Foundations of Business Information Systems and Decision-Making (3 credits)
- BUS-T 175 Compass 1 (1.5 credits)
- ENG-W 131** English Composition (3 credits)
- ECON-B 251 Fundamentals of Economics for Business I (3 credits)
- Complete one of the following on the IU Bloomington campus^: MATH-M 119, MATH-B110, ECON-E 370 or STAT-S 301
*Students who officially declared a major outside business, took courses in pursuit of that major for a full semester or more, and later determined they plan to apply to Kelley may be considered for an application beyond their second semester on the IU Bloomington Campus.
** Accepted substitutes for ENG-W 131 English Composition:
- ENG-W 170
- ENG-W 171
- CMLT-C 110
^This course must be completed once a student is a degree seeking student on the IU Bloomington campus.
