The Global Sales Workshop offers a unique multi-semester immersion experience that focuses on preparing students for careers in professional sales. All majors are welcome to apply to the workshop and can benefit from real-world sales experiences.
Executive Director Charles Ragland leads students through three credits of coursework and professional development opportunities including networking events, sales competitions, corporate partner site visits, and more.
Global Sales Workshop corporate partners include 3M, Altria, AT&T, Author Solutions, Boston Scientific, Gartner, IGS Energy, Nationwide, Nucor Steel, P&G, Paycom, and other highly respected companies.
Members of the Global Sales Workshop take the following courses:
- BUS-M 306: Sales Leadership Workshop (2 credits, 1 credit in fall, 1 credit in spring)
- BUS-M 406: Sales Leadership Workshop (1 credit – full year)
- BUS-M 330: Consultative Selling (required co-requisite)
- BUS-M 426: Sales Management (required co-requisite)
