Kelley MBA Diversity Insights and Preview Weekend

Save the date for our annual Kelley MBA Diversity Insights and Preview Weekend, an on-campus experience designed to help prospective students get an inside view of our nationally ranked, in-residence Full-Time MBA Program.

When you join us for this weekend, you’ll be able to interact with current students, faculty, and staff. You’ll experience info sessions like Diversity Insights, which highlights Kelley’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; our mission of providing an exceptional education for all students; and a broader understanding of diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences in the global business world.

We invite you to join us this November to learn more, experience life in Bloomington, and find out if Kelley is right for you.

Program information

You will be notified immediately on screen of a successful registration. This will be your confirmation, and we encourage you to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. If you request hotel accommodations, we will make a reservation in your name at the Graduate Hotel Bloomington for the nights you indicated. You will receive final details via email approximately one week in advance of the event. Please do not wait until then to make your travel arrangements.

Accommodations will be provided (at no charge to you) at the Graduate Hotel Bloomington for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We will make a reservation at the hotel in your name. Nothing further is required. Incidental expenses will be your responsibility.

In addition to providing complimentary hotel accommodations, the Kelley School will reimburse travel expenses up to $500 for prospective students who attend Kelley MBA Diversity Insights and Preview Weekend. We can reimburse you for your airfare, rental car, gas (for rental car) or mileage (if you use your personal car), airport shuttle, parking, etc. We will not be able to reimburse food and beverage expenses. To receive reimbursement, you must submit all original receipts along with the reimbursement paperwork that will be included in your confirmation packet by the deadline indicated on the forms. All receipts must show the name of the person requesting the reimbursement and the total amount paid. (Only expenses in the name of the prospective student will be reimbursed.)

Bloomington is approximately 50 miles southwest of Indianapolis. Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is served by most major airlines and is approximately one hour from Bloomington.

Go Express provides an affordable way to get to Bloomington from the Indianapolis International Airport with eight round trip shuttles per day. They have a downtown Bloomington stop at the Graduate Hotel. Please visit their website for rates and schedule information. Most major rental car companies also operate out of the Indianapolis International Airport.

Shuttle service will be provided between the host hotel and events on Friday and Saturday as outlined in the schedule.

During your visit, the Fee Lane Parking Garage (at 11th Street and Fee Lane and attached to the Godfrey Center) is available for your convenience. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday evening. If you plan to drive to the Kelley MBA Program prior to 5 p.m. on Friday, you may pick up a guest permit from the MBA Program Office in the Godfrey Center, Suite 2010. Parking is also available at the host hotel.

Breakfast is included for guests who stay at the hotel. Lunch will be provided on both Friday and Saturday and you may register to participate in Friday’s optional Small Group Dinners with current students when you complete your event registration.

Attire for all scheduled events is business casual. Please bring comfortable walking shoes. Fall weather can be unpredictable; be prepared. You will want to bring a jacket or coat and an umbrella just in case.
