Global Sales Workshop

The Global Sales Workshop offers a unique multi-semester immersion experience that focuses on preparing students for careers in professional sales. All majors are welcome to apply to the workshop and can benefit from real-world sales experiences.

Executive Director Charles Ragland leads students through three credits of coursework and professional development opportunities including networking events, sales competitions, corporate partner site visits, and more.

Workshop Application and Admission

Sophomores in fall and spring semesters, juniors in their fall semester.

  • A strong interest in sales
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong academics
  • An ability to excel individually and in teamwork environments
  • A personable and engaging character

  • Fall applications due week after Labor Day
  • Spring applications due late January.

Students are given notification during each step of the interview process (application received, advance to round one, advance to round two, final notification).

Interested Kelley students should attend the Global Sales Workshop Info Night and submit an application.  Select applicants will be invited to participate in a first round interview, a sales competition, and a final interview.

Workshop Time Commitment

The workshop meets weekly, competes in multiple sales competitions, travels to corporate partner headquarters, and builds strong relationships between its members and corporate partners.
