At Kelley, we start with you—helping you reach your career goals through the right academic focus in our proven two-year curriculum that lets you tailor your education to your future, with leadership, global opportunities, and teamwork built in to the program.
After you understand the basics of business, you’ll start to specialize, designing your own academic schedule of electives starting in the second semester of your first year—a huge advantage in your internship and career focus.
From the start, a Kelley MBA is your MBA—your major, your Academy, and a minor or dual degree if you choose, all leading to the career you want. And, with faculty, mentors, and career coaches to help get you there.
You’ll start with the Integrated Core your first semester, an intense 15-week program, led by a team of eight of Kelley’s best faculty members, providing a strong, coordinated foundation in business fundamentals and how they work together:

- Critical Thinking and Business Ethics
- Economic Foundations
- Finance
- Financial Accounting
- Marketing
- Operations Strategy
- Strategic Management
Throughout the Core, you’ll be on a small team with fellow students from a diverse range of professional and cultural backgrounds. Together, you’ll work on projects, become better managers, stronger collaborators, build lasting bonds, and a new understanding of the business world.
You’ll choose one of Kelley’s industry-focused Academies, giving you career experience through real-world cases and consulting projects while still in school—and a huge advantage in your job search.
Select from one of Kelley's seven majors or design your own. With approximately six additional credit hours (four courses), you can also add a minor in another academic area.
Apply your expertise to some of today’s most pressing business issues through our Certificate Programs.
While pursuing your MBA, you can pursue an additional master’s degree in another Indiana University school through our Joint Degree Programs.
