Fred and Della Spencer Scholarship

Award Description:

This award was established by the late George A. Spencer of Tipton, Indiana. It was Mr. Spencer’s wish that the scholarship be awarded in memory of his mother and father, Fred and Della Spencer, who made it possible for their eight children to obtain their college degrees. Six of those children graduated from Indiana University with A.B. degrees, and two graduated from Ball State University, one of whom later attended IU to obtain a Masters degree. The scholarship supports students who have distinguished themselves in the classroom as among the best students in the Kelley School of Business. Special consideration may be given to graduates of high schools in Tipton County, Indiana.
