Seger Women’s Study Abroad Scholarship
Award Description:
The Seger Women’s Study Abroad Scholarship was established to support undergraduate business majors in the Kelley School of Business during qualified overseas study. Preference is given to females who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States and pursuing majors in finance, marketing, and/or real estate.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate business major at IU Bloomington
- Participating in an IU-approved, credit-bearing overseas study program as part of an educational experience for a semester, academic year, summer study, or short term program
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale is required
- Special consideration is given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences
- In selecting recipients, first preference is given to females who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States and pursuing declared majors in finance, marketing, and/or real estate
- Second preference to females who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States who are pursuing other business majors
- Third preference to students pursuing declared majors in finance, marketing, and/or real estate
- May receive only once
