Hugh B. ‘Jim’ Sweeny, Jr. Scholarship
Award Description:
From the late 1940’s through the early 1990’s, Indiana University hosted the annual Junior Achievement Program conference. Conference Director Hugh B. ‘Jim’ Sweeny, Jr. enjoyed strong ties to the IU Business School (later the Kelley School of Business). The Hugh B. ‘Jim’ Sweeny, Jr. was established in 2019 to recognize Mr. Sweeny’s innumerable contributions to Junior Achievement. The award supports qualified seniors enrolled at the Kelley School of Business Bloomington who have extensive volunteer experience with Junior Achievement or another nonprofit organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate business major enrolled at the Kelley School of Business Bloomington
- Rising seniors who have volunteered or participated in Junior Achievement or have extensive volunteer experience in a nonprofit setting throughout their college and/or high school careers
