Consumer Marketing Workshop

The mission of the Consumer Marketing Workshop is to introduce students to careers and opportunities in consumer insights, brand management, and marketing communications.

The workshop will include:

  • An overview of industries and key consumer marketing concepts.
  • Panels, speakers, and networking with leading companies in consumer marketing
  • Site visits to corporate headquarters in Columbus, Cincinnati, Chicago, or other locations.
  • Live cases and other hands-on projects with corporate partners
  • Internship and fulltime recruiting skills training for consumer marketing jobs
  • Potential internship opportunities

Workshop Application and Admission

Any Kelley undergraduate , but sophomores are given priority.

Good academic record and demonstrated interest in consumer marketing, such as taking related classes or AMA involvement.

Applications are open from Sept 16, 2022 – Sept 30, 2022.

Interviews should be complete by the first week in October. Student will be informed of decisions in October before registration begins.

Workshop Time Commitment

The class is scheduled to meet Thursdays 4-7pm during the spring semester. There may also be a few site visits to companies on Fridays.  Time commitment will be similar to other 3-credit electives.
