Kelley Induction is a tradition that welcomes newly admitted students to the Kelley School. Many students (and their parents) recall the Kelley Induction Ceremony as a hallmark of the undergraduate experience.

The 2024 Kelley Induction Ceremony will be on Friday, September 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the IU Auditorium. The event is designed to conclude prior to the IU Football 7 p.m. kickoff.
Hosted by Dean Ashok “Ash” Soni, the Induction Ceremony provides a forum for students and their families to hear from leaders of the faculty, alumni association, and student government. In a defining moment of the ceremony, students are formally inducted by reciting the Kelley Creed and joining the ranks of current students and the more than 133,000 living alumni who have shared this transformational experience.
