Best IU experience so far: Winning the IUSA election my sophomore year. We had a group of 100+ students working on a campaign for several months, and celebrating the victory on election day is something I will never forget.
Greatest life lesson: Stick to your guns – if you truly believe in something, stand up for it. And don’t let the world define yourself for you.
My greatest role model and why: Tiger Woods (pre-scandal). Even though Tiger is one of the most gifted athletes on the planet, he continually pushed himself and worked harder than anyone.
Favorite movie and why: The Pursuit of Happyness – the movie is a great lesson on the importance of hard work and believing in your abilities.
Favorite class at IU and why: A philosophy class called “Thinking and Reasoning.” The class is all about structuring arguments, and it’s pretty incredible how helpful the skills it develops have been.
Something I’m really passionate about: I love golf, and I actually strongly considered playing in college.
Something that would surprise people about me or a fun fact: I sat next to Jared the Subway Guy at Super Bowl XLII!
