Business Economics and Public Policy (BEPP) students have outstanding job placement records and high starting salaries. About 95 percent of BEPP seniors find jobs before winter break with very competitive starting salaries.
Recently BEPP grads have taken analyst positions in such companies as McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, KPMG, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Lazard, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Nielsen, and P&G.
BEPP graduates are equipped with strong critical thinking skills, rigorous economic modeling frameworks, and solid data analytic techniques that can be applied to market research and economic forecasting for businesses, financial institutions, governments, policy organizations, and beyond. BEPP’s liberal-arts foundation in broad-based critical thinking skills gives our majors a wider perspective and added adaptability to different industry settings than most other business majors, which ultimately opens up a wide range of career opportunities.
