Promote your open jobs and internships on our online job board

The first step to recruiting at Kelley is to create an account on Handshake, our online job and internship and on-campus recruiting system. Registered employers can:

  • Post full-time, part-time, and internship positions
  • Track applicants
  • Schedule on-campus interviews
  • Sign up for career events
  • Receive announcements from Undergraduate Career Services (UCS)

After you submit your registration, a career services team member will review your request, and if approved, send a confirmation email.

Once you have successfully created your account, you may submit job and internship postings at any time.

Internships

Internships are work experiences that provide students with practical skills and valuable knowledge in a particular industry or area of study. National Association of Colleges and Employers has established criteria for an internship to be legitimate and provides best practices for a successful internship experience.

  • Academic credit for a non-paying internship can only be arranged through the student's academic department.
  • Academic credit is subject to the rules and procedures of each academic department.
  • Academic credit for paid and unpaid internships can only be arranged through the student's academic department. Undergraduate Career Services approves all internships for credit.

If your internship is unpaid, consider offering flexible hours. This allows the student to secure a part-time job to cover expenses.

Hiring international students on an F-1 visa

  • Positions must provide practical experience in student's field of study.
  • Paid or compensated positions require Curricular Practical Training (CPT) authorization; students will need to work with the Office of International Services and Undergraduate Career Services to obtain work authorization prior to beginning work.
  • For additional information, please check these guidelines or the Office of International Services.
