Build your expertise. The 12-week Integrated Core builds holistic business expertise through three six-credit core blocks in your first and second years. Your professors, experts at delivering online instruction, work together to balance the workload, so you'll only have real-time sessions for two courses each week.

In Core 1: Foundations, you'll dive into economics, business law foundations, and organizational behavior.

In Core 2: Functions, you'll learn to deliver value through functional excellence in operations management, marketing management, and financial management.

And in Core 3: Future, you'll understand how to create and sustain a competitive advantage with courses involving digital technology innovation, developing strategic capabilities, and Kelley On Location, an in-person capstone experience. During Kelley On Location, you and your team will solve real business challenges, or dig into unique business trends, at a location chosen by your faculty.

The Kelley Direct Online MBA curriculum at a glance

Our curriculum is intentionally designed to offer a combination of fundamentals, in-person experiences, and a 50/50 split between required online MBA courses and electives—all taught by full-time Kelley School of Business faculty. After completing a set core curriculum during your first year in the program, you can begin customizing your focus by choosing a mix of required and elective classes in your second year.
