Kelley Direct Online MBA scholarships

Earning an online MBA is a major investment of both your time and money. Kelley Direct offers a range of scholarship opportunities—and we let you know how much scholarship funding you’ll be awarded before you decide to enroll.

When to apply for Online MBA scholarships

After completing your admissions interview, your admissions counselor will send you a link to the scholarship application. You must complete the application to be considered for one or more scholarships for your online MBA. The maximum total amount of scholarship funds awarded is $30,000. Should a student receive multiple awards, the grand total will not exceed $30,000.

Forté Fellowship

Kelley Direct is a proud partner of Forté, a foundation that works to increase the number of women business leaders and their allies and to support their careers through business education and networks. Forté Fellows connect with leading companies and a large Forté network.

All Kelley Direct applicants are eligible and encouraged to apply for the Forté Fellowship.

ROMBA Fellowship

The ROMBA LGBTQ+ Fellowship is a joint effort between business school programs and Reaching Out to develop the out LGBTQ+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. In addition to financial support, fellows gain access to leadership programming, including a Fellowship Retreat.

All Kelley Direct applicants are eligible and encouraged to apply for the ROMBA Fellowship.

Expanding Access Scholarship

Kelley Direct welcomes, affirms, and celebrates all students, and we're committed to empowering leaders who champion access. This scholarship will be awarded to outstanding applicants who embrace these values in their own communities.

All Kelley Direct applicants are eligible and encouraged to apply for the Expanding Access Scholarship.

Military Service Scholarship

As one of U.S. News & World Report's top online MBA programs for veterans, we are proud to offer this scholarship to those who are serving or who have served in the US military. We also accept most military tuition assistance, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. Thank you for serving our country.

Kelley Direct Momentum Scholarship

To be considered for this award, applicants must have strong professional and academic accomplishments and embody the Kelley Direct values—leadership, global and civic engagement, innovation, and collaboration. You must also show a commitment to the Kelley Direct community and its success.

All Kelley Direct applicants are eligible and encouraged to apply for the Momentum Scholarship.

How to apply for scholarships

Step 1: Complete the Kelley Direct Program Application Form.

Step 2: If selected to move on to Phase 2 of the application process, you’ll complete a scholarship application as well as an admissions interview and the Indiana University Graduate School Application. You will also submit official test scores and transcripts.

Many items are considered during the scholarship review process. Submitted essays, previous academic performance, and professional experience are all important factors in the process.

Applicants will be notified during Phase 2 of the application process. After you complete the scholarship application, you will receive an email with the scholarship award decision. Final awards are contingent upon full admission into the degree program and Indiana University, including final review of official transcripts and other application materials. 

Yes! Competitive applicants may be awarded multiple scholarships.

Scholarship awards are applied to student accounts in equal parts over the course of the degree program. Total value is not applied with the first initial term. The total value is realized after completing the full degree program. 

No. Scholarships are only awarded as part of the admissions application process. One scholarship application is allowed. Current Kelley Direct students are not eligible to apply.

Kelley Direct offers the scholarships listed on this page. We encourage applicants to research and evaluate third-party scholarships, student loans through the university financial aid process, or private student loans to provide funding for the degree program.
