Hello. My name is Brian Williams. I am a professor and chair of the advanced Business Technology Department here at Kelly. I'm thrilled to introduce our new eight week course on Generative AI for Business Leaders. Developed in response to your feedback as Kelly Direct Alumni. Many of you have expressed a desire for continuing education that equips you with up to date skills, to help you continue to grow in your careers, and this first of its kind course is designed to meet that need. Our goal of this course is to provide you with practical hands on experience and guidance and using generative AI to enhance your productivity and effectiveness as a business leader. This technology is evolving rapidly, and the course will focus heavily on rail world examples that reflect the current landscape of NII and business. We'll explore how GNI can augment your own abilities and help your organization from handling routine tasks to serving as a creative partner in your decision making process. The course is designed to be applicable to business leaders regardless of their current knowledge level of NII. We'll start with a high level overview of NII to give you the background you need to best understand how to utilize these tools. As the course is focused on a business leaders point of view, we'll also discuss the quickly changing landscape around ethical and legal issues, ensuring you're aware of the potential risks and how to protect yourself and your organization. Throughout the course, my goal is to keep our sessions highly interactive and adaptable to your interest and the latest developments in the field. Cover the evaluation of current GNAI models, discuss the implications of deep faxed and visual AI, provide practical tips on prompting and evaluating AI generated content. Additionally, we'll explore how you can leverage NA AI as a personal career coach and business advisor, integrating it into your daily workflow to create and evaluate reports more effectively and gain new insights. In order to ensure a highly interactive experience, we expect you to engage with the course materials fully. You'll need to complete about 3 hours of asynchronous prework before each class, including a quick quiz to assess understanding. Live virtual classes will run 75 minutes once per week for eight weeks, during which we expect you to have your cameras on and engage actively with each other during the sessions. We believe that the best learning experience comes from being highly engaged. So please come prepared to participate rather than expecting a sit and get approach. However, we want this course to be also flexible and understand that sometimes life can be busy, you will also offer a task in lieu of attendance for credit for weeks you cannot attend a live session.
