Accelerated MS in Information Systems
Depending on your undergraduate program, you may have an accelerated master’s degree program pathway through either the Kelley School of Business or the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

Complete your AMP eligibility requirements, meet with your undergraduate advisor and Kelley Graduate Admissions, and apply to the MSIS program.
Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission. Admission is dependent upon completing your bachelor’s degree requirements and any additional conditions by the required deadlines.
Complete approved overlapping graduate coursework while finishing your bachelor’s degree. After completing your bachelor’s degree, complete any remaining master’s degree requirements.

The accelerated MSIS provides an efficient path to advanced education in information systems, allowing eligible students to build on their undergraduate education and develop both technology and business expertise.
Kelley School of Business information systems majors are invited to apply for conditional admission to AMP based on the following criteria. A final admission decision is granted in a student’s last undergraduate semester, contingent on successful completion of their undergraduate degree.
Eligibility requirements:
IU Bloomington Kelley School of Business information systems major
Completion of undergraduate requirements, with the exception of up to 3 credit hours of information systems electives
Completion of applicable secondary, co-major, and IU General Education requirements before the first AMP term
Eligible courses: The following master’s-level courses are available to admitted Kelley School of Business information systems undergraduate students through AMP. All courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered in fall, spring, and summer semesters.
BUS-G 570 Game Theory
BUS-J 522 Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation
BUS-M 522 New Product Management
BUS-M 528 CRM and Digital Analytics
BUS-P 561 Supply Chain Management and Technologies
Courses are subject to change based on course offerings each semester.
Complete any two of these courses, earning a grade of B or higher in each. The 3 credit hours will count toward both your undergraduate and master’s degrees.
Luddy students have a separate accelerated pathway to the MS in Information Systems through a partnership between Luddy and Kelley. This opportunity is designed for students pursuing eligible Luddy undergraduate degrees who want to continue into the Kelley MSIS program.
The Luddy pathway has its own eligibility and course requirements, including the pre-MSIS business cognate.
Tuition and financial aid
Students admitted to the MSIS program through AMP are charged graduate tuition rates for graduate-level coursework, in accordance with university policies.
Merit-based fellowships and graduate assistantship opportunities are available. Eligible students are automatically considered at the time of admission; no separate application is required. Students with existing scholarships should check with their scholarship administrator to determine whether their scholarship applies to the AMP pathway.
