EY Case Competition

An MS in Information Systems student shakes hands with a judge during a case competition.

Hit the ground running during your first week of classes with a challenge from EY. You will partner with your new classmates to create a solution to the challenge, which you’ll then present to EY employees. During the judging session, you will gain valuable feedback. This will enable you to take that feedback and set a course for future projects, including the Capstone Project.

Set a benchmark for future improvement

The EY Case Competition provides an opportunity for you to build on what you are learning at every stage of the MSIS program:

  • Understand how to create value for a business
  • Take your original solution and keep making it better
  • Strengthen your presentation skills
  • Learn how to incorporate feedback into your work
  • Watch your skills develop over time

“One of the most exciting parts of the program is the people you learn with and the relationships you build. There is an exponential learning curve attached to working along with teams of people with diverse backgrounds, opinions, work styles, and experiences. It teaches valuable people skills, including team building, diplomacy, and communication which are crucial to succeeding in the real world.”

Urvi Sethia, MSIS’23
