The 12 credit hour LEAD co-major will help you become a principled decision-maker and effective leader in a global business environment by preparing you to:

  • Recognize and manage legal risks and opportunities in your chosen industry or profession.
  • Understand and evaluate your own and others’ reasoning.
  • Form sound judgments about complex ethical issues. 
  • Construct, advocate, and defend strong arguments.

The Undergraduate Program provides complete information about undergraduate degree requirements, including comprehensive information about the curriculum. Drop in to the Kelley Undergraduate Advising Office for the most up-to-date information and to make sure that you are on track to complete needed courses.

Degree Requirements

Note: Law, Ethics, & Decision-Making is a second major only. It must be declared in conjunction with another Kelley major (not with another a co-major).

Required Grades and GPA: Grade of C or higher for each course counting toward the Law, Ethics, & Decision-Making Co-Major. Major GPA of 2.0 or higher—GPA includes all courses counting toward the Law, Ethics, & Decision-Making Co-Major.


All 300/400 business courses must be taken on the IU Bloomington campus or must be pre-authorized as a part of an approved study abroad program.

Students must complete at least one elective course option from the Global Electives list.
