The course studies current energy production and reliance on fossil fuels; forms of renewable energy; implementation of renewables and financial impact; climate crisis science overview; market pressures for climate mitigation and adaption; US and EU disclosure rules; related national security and trade issues; and the current work of the UNFCCC and IPCC Working Groups.
