As a graduate of Executive Degree Programs, you can participate in two ceremonies in May—both the Indiana University Graduate Commencement Ceremony and the Kelley School of Business Online Programs Graduate Recognition Ceremony. Executive Degree Programs also hosts a recognition dinner to celebrate the achievements of graduates in the beautiful Indiana University Memorial Union just before the Kelley Online Programs Graduate Recognition Ceremony.
IU Graduate Commencement Ceremony
Approximately 7,000 students graduate over the course of this weekend. The IU Graduate Commencement Ceremony celebrates all IU Bloomington graduate students by school at the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. You do not need tickets, and there are no reserved seats. You may invite as many guests as you wish.

Kelley Graduate Recognition Ceremony
This special ceremony recognizes the graduating class of the Kelley Online Program at the IU Auditorium, complete with caps, gowns, and all the pomp and circumstance our graduates have earned. Names are called individually. You do not need tickets, and there are no reserved seats. You may invite as many guests as you wish.

MBA & MS graduate attending the Spring 2020 Graduation Ceremony are invited to participate in any of the IU and Kelley School of Business events listed below. Follow this link to RSVP for any or all of the events. Deadline to RSVP is April 1, 2020.
IU Spring Graduate Commencement Ceremony is Friday, May 8, 2020 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Students line up at 1 p.m. ET, ceremony begins at 3 p.m. ET. Find more information here. Graduates are announced as a group, not individually. Please RSVP at the link above.
Executive Degree Programs Recognition Dinner is Saturday, May 9, 2020. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. ET with the dinner at 4:50 p.m. ET in the Frangipani Room of the Indiana Memorial Union. This is a catered event, and an RSVP is required. There is no charge to attend, but there is a limit of 3 guests per graduate.
Kelley Online Recognition Ceremony is Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Indiana University Auditorium. Students arrive at the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. ET, ceremony runs 7 through 9 p.m. ET. A reception in the lobby follows until 10 p.m. ET. There is no charge for this event and no limit on the number of guests. Please RSVP at the link above.
A cap & gown are required for both the IU Spring Commencement Ceremony and Kelley Online Recognition Ceremony. Visit the IU Herff Jones web page to order your cap & gown. Make sure you have your IU student ID number when placing your order.

- Attending Only Friday, Graduate Ceremony: There will be return locations set up at IU Assembly Hall following the ceremony.
- Attending both Friday & Saturday Ceremonies: Keep your cap and gown after the Friday ceremony to use for Saturday.
- Attending Saturday Ceremony: There will be return locations set up at the IU Auditorium to return your cap & gown following the ceremony.
Please book early. Approximately 7,000 IU students will participate in graduation events the weekend of May 8 and 9th, 2020. Some hotels book up a year in advance. A list of area hotels can be found at this link.
