Journal of Business Venturing
A journal dedicated to entrepreneurship that provides a scholarly forum for sharing useful and interesting theories, narratives, and interpretations of the antecedents, mechanisms, and/or consequences of entrepreneurship.
The journal aspires to deepen our understanding of the entrepreneurial phenomenon in its myriad of forms. The journal publishes entrepreneurship research from:
- the disciplines of economics, psychology, and sociology and welcomes research from other disciplines such as anthropology, geography, history, and so on,
- the functions of finance/accounting, management, marketing, and strategy and welcomes research from other functions such as operations, information technology, public policy, medicine, law, music, and so on, and
- the contexts of international and sustainability (environmental and social) and welcomes research from other contexts such as high uncertainty, dynamism, time pressured, emotional, and so on.
