FOP prepares students for finance career success through professional development workshops, industry exposure, and essential financial knowledge. Students learn resume building, networking, and interview techniques, basic financial concepts while exploring various career paths through Kelley workshop presentation, firm presentations and panel discussions. Students complete the program with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic finance industry.

FOP Application and Admission
First-year students who identify as: (1) underrepresented minority students, including students who identify as African American, Latino/Hispanic, American Indian/Native American, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, (2) women, (3) LGBTQ+, (4) veterans, (5) first-generation of college, are encouraged to apply.
Enrollment in the course is subject to an application and interview process. A good cumulative GPA is preferred depending upon the strength of the applicant pool. Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to be self-motivated and possessing a strong desire to learn.
Applications open mid-October through early November.
Successful applicants will be invited to interview soon after the application closes and final decisions will be made in December. Applicants are highly encouraged to network with current and past FDP students leading up to the application due date.
