The Center for Real Estate Studies conducts and supports many activities outside of normal coursework that help students interested in real estate build knowledge, professionalism, and relationships.
As part of the Commercial Real Estate Workshop (CRW), the center hosts an alumni conference in the fall. Students enrolled in the workshop have the opportunity to attend panel discussions made up of 3-5 alumni in the following areas: brokerage, capital markets, development, entrepreneurship, and private equity.
Following the conference, the center will host the Advisory Board & Alumni Networking Dinner for the program’s student leadership, CRW students, alumni, and advisory board members.
In addition, the center organizes several events featuring guest speakers or panels focusing on relevant topics in real estate, including the annual Alumni & Friends Dinner and a Chicago alumni dinner, both held in April.
