In addition, the center organizes several events featuring guest speakers or panels focusing on relevant topics in real estate, including the annual Alumni & Friends Dinner and a Chicago alumni dinner, both held in April.
The center hosts a luncheon in both the fall and spring semesters in Indianapolis to provide networking between students and the broader real estate community. Each luncheon features a guest speaker focusing on a relevant real estate topic. A career fair follows, with between 20 and 30 real estate companies participating each semester.
The center supports students in attending several case competitions every year in addition to putting on the Stanley E. Hunt Case Series. Competitions include the Cornell International Case Competition hosted by Cornell University in New York, the Eisenberg Real Estate Challenge hosted by the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation in Chicago, and the University Challenge hosted by NAIOP Indiana.
As part of the Commercial Real Estate Workshop (CRW), the center hosts an alumni conference in the fall. Students enrolled in the workshop have the opportunity to attend panel discussions made up of 3-5 alumni in the following areas: brokerage, capital markets, development, entrepreneurship, and private equity.
Following the conference, the center will host the Advisory Board & Alumni Networking Dinner for the program’s student leadership, CRW students, alumni, and advisory board members.
