Academics

Develop the powerful financial and analytical skills in demand across industries

The Master of Science in Accounting with Data and Analytics (MSADA) degree prepares students with undergraduate degrees to become certified public accountants. The intensive one-year curriculum opens a variety of accounting career paths, including taxation, auditing and risk management, corporate accounting, management consulting, banking and financial services, and governmental and nonprofit organizations.

Through IU’s partnership with Becker Professional Education, Kelley graduate accounting students will receive access to a Becker representative who will help them choose from a variety of prep formats and assist with account setup and any other related questions.

Graduates of the STEM-designated MSADA program have an impressive skill set that leads them to success. Our students understand:

  • The basic principles of accounting paired with in-depth knowledge about assurance and risk management or taxation
  • How to integrate technical knowledge and business to analyze and recommend solutions
  • Legal and ethical principles as they affect business and accounting decisions
  • Effective teamwork and communication strategies
