The purpose of the Annual Fund is to attract annually renewable private support from alumni and friends and match it with the current needs of the school, as determined by the dean. Annually pledged gifts, whatever the amount, make a distinct and critical difference in the school’s ability to support vital needs. Some examples include funding student participation in a global case competition or creating scholarships for underrepresented students.
Only a very small portion of the Kelley School’s annual budget comes from state allocations—the lion’s share is from other sources, including private gifts.
