Changes in the Healthcare Ecosystem

In response to the continuing challenge to balance healthcare costs and patient outcomes, different parts of the industry value chain, like insurers, PBMs, hospital networks and physician practices are combining. At the same time, new players like Mark Cuban’s CostPlus Drug Company, Civica Rx’s insulin production for the state of California, and private equity’s roll up of various provider groups are making their presence felt. Stakeholders from across the industry will share their perspectives on current and future effects on healthcare plans, product portfolios, patient choices, and costs.
