Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep Course

This PMP Exam Prep Course is a 10-week online course designed to provide working professionals with the content, instruction, and skills necessary to successfully pass the most current PMP exam as tested by the Project Management Institute. The classes and exercises will prepare you for the exam and count as the PM training required by the Project Management Institute.

The course includes the most recent exam content, and you will work with a community of like-minded individuals interested in learning together to encourage and support a successful completion of the PMP exam.

Who should attend

All those interested in project management with any level of experience are welcome to register. This course provides comprehensive preparation for the Project Management Professional certification, the most recognized project management certification in the world today.

Format

This course will meet online from 7 to 9 p.m. ET, Monday evenings. Attendance at the sessions is highly recommended, but all sessions are recorded for later review. In addition to synchronous learning, there will be two to three hours of independent reading/preparation.

Faculty

Carl Briggs

Carl Briggs 

Carl Briggs is a clinical professor of operations and decision technologies and co-director of the Business Operations Consulting Workshop. During his 30 years with the Department of Operations and Decision Technologies at the Kelley School of Business, he has been recognized for his innovative approach to management education, receiving teaching awards and accolades in the United States, Asia, and the European Union. He currently holds active academic appointments in the United States, Germany, China, and South Korea.

Carl directed Kelley’s Supply Chain Management Academy. His areas of expertise are project management, process improvement, and strategic sourcing—he has trained hundreds of business professionals in areas including project management, process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, value analysis/engineering, supply base rationalization, total cost of ownership, inventory management, and effective contract management.

Though Carl routinely travels around the world teaching, lecturing, and working with corporations in pursuit of supply chain excellence, he enjoys his Bloomington home, which he shares with his wife Annette and their children, Mariah, Ben, and Emily.
