3/2 MBA applicants should be students at the Kelley School of Business on track to complete the prerequisites for entry.

We already know you are the best of the best—you’re a Kelley. No GMAT scores are required and the application takes just 30 minutes to complete.

The application should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, you may save your progress and return to the application at a later time, if interrupted. The form will ask general questions regarding personal information and education/activities/experience background. Remember, Kelley students are exempt from submitting test scores, a personal statement, and an application fee. If you have problems with your application and need to communicate with us, please send an email to acctgrad@indiana.edu, you may also use this email to request your own personal fee waiver code. PLEASE do not call or email faculty or staff in the office, it only complicates, and delays matters further. You may check the status of your application by selecting “check status” in the application.

Select “create an account”. Complete all the required fields when creating an account.

This form will ask you for full name, date of birth, citizenship, and ethnic information. Please complete all required questions

Select the Fall entry semester for which you are applying.

Select “Kelley 3/2 MBA” by checking the addition sign to the left of the listed program, or you may search for the program in the search bar at the top. Once selected, you may review the program description. You can close out of it to proceed with the application. Select “continue”.

Complete all six sections with your personal information. After completion of each section, “save and continue” to the next section. You will see a “checkmark” indicating when a section is complete.

Complete all three sections providing the colleges you attended. You do not need to upload an IU transcript as the department already has access to your official transcript. Once you have completed one section, select the next section to complete. Remember that Kelley students are exempt from submitting any test scores. Once you’ve completed all three sections, select “my application” to move on in the application.

Complete all three sections and you may move on to the next section by selecting it. Should you select “Yes” to a criminal/disciplinary history question, you will be required to submit documentation describing your criminal or disciplinary history. Once you’ve completed all three sections, select “my application” to move on in the application.

RESUME: Please attach a PDF formatted resume that includes GPA, work experience, including professional, full-time, part-time, volunteer, or military experience; extracurricular activities, including leadership positions held and dates of participation; and honors/awards.

SUPPORTING REFERENCES: We request the names of two Kelley faculty members who can serve as your references. You will be required to enter those names in the Questions tab on the application. The admissions committee will contact the Kelley faculty member directly.

After you submit your application, you will receive an email within a couple days with confirmation that it was received. Competitive applicants will be invited for an Assess Day (half-day interview).

Should I call to check on the status of my application?
Please do not call our office for confirmation of your completed application & supporting documents. If something is missing, we will email you.

What additional documents should I send to the Kelley School of Business?
None. Since you are a current IU student, we can access your transcript through the University systems.

What are the deadlines to apply?
Applicants are encouraged to submit their complete applications by December 1 of their junior year. You can apply as early as your sophomore year at any time.

Do I need to take the GMAT/GRE/TOEFL?
No, as a Kelley student you are not required to take the GMAT, GRE, or TOEFL.

Will sending writing samples, certificates, and other documentation help my application?
No. Please do not send materials that were not requested. These documents will not be considered for admission.

When does assess day happen?
There are multiple assess days that happen throughout the year. Applicants are expected to only attend one. If there is a schedule conflict, applicants will either be assigned a subsequent assess day or given an alternative interview.

The 3/2 MBA program is open to Kelley undergraduates in accounting and finance. Please apply by December 1 of your junior year.
