Careers
The numbers don’t lie: accounting professionals are in demand. Accounting is one of the top 10 “most profitable” college majors due to its numerous job opportunities and high starting salaries, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that the number of accounting jobs will increase by 18 to 26 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Hundreds of employers come to Kelley every year to interview and hire skilled, ethical, work-ready professionals. More than 90 percent of new Kelley accounting graduates are hired each year, and the average starting salary for our class of 2007 was nearly 12 percent above the national average.
