Getting to and around Bloomington, Indiana

The nearest airport to Indiana University is the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). The airport is 50 miles north of Bloomington and serviced by most major carriers.
Options include shuttle or rental car (bus and train services are not available).

There are two pay parking lots near the Indiana Memorial Union Biddle Hotel. Hotel guests may get their parking tickets validated.
Check-in will be on Friday, January 17, in the Indiana Memorial Union. Check-in for the competition will be from 2 to 4 p.m. ET, and all teams should plan to be in Bloomington no later than 4 p.m. ET. Plan to allow approximately 90 minutes for travel from the Indianapolis airport to arrival in Bloomington.
The official competition events will conclude the evening of Saturday, January 18, at 7:30 p.m. and all teams should plan to stay in Bloomington through the end of the competition. Lodging will be provided for student teams for both Friday and Saturday nights.
Hotel rooms will be reserved for all student team members at no cost to the teams. Housing will be assigned by the NDCC Planning Committee.
Advisors who are accompanying teams should plan to make their own arrangements for lodging. A limited number of rooms may be available at the Indiana Memorial Union Biddle hotel for advisors. If you are an advisor and wish to reserve a room here, please email ksbNDCC@iu.edu so that we can assist in the process. If rooms are no longer available at the Biddle Hotel or you wish to stay elsewhere, a couple options located near campus are listed below.
