The Departments of Finance and Accounting at the Kelley School of Business are proud to host the 31st annual Conference on Financial Economics and Accounting, November 5 and 6, 2021, on the beautiful Indiana University Bloomington campus.
We are excited to announce our conference keynote speakers. Itay Goldstein, who is the Joel S. Ehrenkranz Family Professor in the Finance Department at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, will present on Friday, November 5. Robert J. Jackson Jr., the Pierrepont Family Professor of Law at the New York University School of Law and former SEC Commissioner, will present on Saturday, November 6.
This annual conference is organized by members of a consortium representing eight universities: Georgia State University, Indiana University, New York University, Rutgers University, Temple University, Tulane University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Toronto. The conference convenes financial economists and accounting scholars, practitioners, and students from around the US to explore emerging concepts and themes in finance and accounting, with a special focus on the intersection of the two fields of research.
The one-and-a-half-day conference is dedicated to the development of all research methods in finance and accounting, including theory, case studies, archival, and experimental work. We invite authors to submit analytical and empirical papers in all areas of finance and accounting.
