Accounting doctoral students receive a stipend (fellowship), full tuition waiver, and health insurance. Students teach and serve as research assistants for this fellowship. Accounting faculty members also fund an Accounting Doctoral Student Fellowship, a $1,500 fellowship that each student receives upon successfully completing his or her dissertation proposal.
The Kelley School offers these and other forms of financial assistance to help you pursue your PhD, and outside scholarships and fellowships are also available. You can learn more about financial aid at IU from the IU Bloomington Office of Student Financial Assistance.
