Wendy Arralde Pottgen (she/her/hers) is an empathetic, engaged and energetic lecturer at Indiana University, Bloomington, Kelley School of Business. In addition to her work as a lecturer, Wendy engages in strategic HR projects and consulting, with over a decade of strategic human resources services including organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, full employee-lifecycle talent management, and e-learning programming (including design, development, and project management).
Prior to her work as a visiting lecturer and HR projects consultant, Wendy worked at the NCAA national office HR department. She was part of the office of inclusion, equity and community engagement, which included the in-house HR function while also providing consultative HR and development services to the NCAA members. While at the NCAA, she had oversight of the talent acquisition process, which included hiring for all levels within the organization for all roles through vice president level. She is SHRM-CP certified, is a silver certified Crucial Conversations facilitator and DDI Targeted Selection behavioral based interviewing program manager. Prior to her role at the NCAA, she had a career as an account executive in high tech, helping her customers build out their infrastructure to provide best-in-class internet access solutions.
Wendy graduated with a B.A. in Music from Whitworth University, and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership (with a servant leadership certificate), both in Spokane, WA. She serves her community as a diversity and inclusion education lead for Mid-Am Hockey, region within USA Hockey, and as vice president of the Indiana State High School Hockey Association (ISHSHA).
