Farhan Iqbal is an assistant professor in the Management & Entrepreneurship department at the Kelley School of Business. Prior to joining Kelley, he was a visiting assistant professor at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. He received degrees from the University of Michigan (BBA) and the University of Georgia (PhD). Professor Iqbal's research takes on a behavioral perspective to examine stakeholders’ perceptions of firms, and how those perceptions influence organizational behavior. In particular, he studies corporate reputation, crisis and impression management, corporate activism, and the role of morality in and around organizations. He utilizes natural language processing, econometrics, and quasi-experimental research methodologies. His research appears in field-leading journals, including Academy of Management Review and Strategic Management Journal.
