Admission to our intellectually challenging, culturally diverse learning environment is competitive, so we recommend applying as early as possible. The application deadline for domestic and international students is December 15. Applications from students received by December 15 will be processed first, but we will continue to accept applications until January 2.
To apply to our doctoral program, submit an online application, letters of recommendation, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, transcripts, and an application fee. If English is not your native language, you also need to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Admission is highly competitive. Usually we receive approximately 100 applications per year and admit three; at any given time, we have about a dozen students enrolled in our majors. After an applicant’s file is screened by the Doctoral Programs Office of the Kelley School of Business, it is sent to the Doctoral Committee in our department, which then evaluates the case. We look at several factors in our assessments of candidates:
