BUS-X 611 Statistics for Research II

  • 15 weeks
  • 3 credits
  • Prerequisite(s): BUS-X610

This course focuses on selected univariate and multivariate statistical methods and techniques, applied to data analysis and statistical inference for business related research. While the course addresses the theoretical foundations of these methods, it emphasizes the application of these techniques to business related research, via analysis and interpretation of data using Stata.

Familiarity with simple matrix algebra, multiple regression and analysis of variance (topics covered in X610) is assumed. Basic understanding of Stata software package is an additional pre-requisite.
