BUS-X 155 Topics in Business: Introduction to Generative AI in Business

This course is an interdisciplinary, introductory elective that gives students an introduction to the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in business. Students will understand the basics of what AI is doing and how to make it work effectively in multiple business disciplines and settings. Course topics also include the limitations of AI and ethical and legal considerations involved in the use of GenAI in business. After completion of this course, students will be equipped with the foundational skills needed to engage with GenAI technologies to help them effectively to position themselves advantageously in the job market.
