This course provides an exploration into the fundamentals of effective small business management. Covers such diverse activities as management, marketing, finance, and operations. Topics such as growth, advertising, financial analysis, budgeting, purchasing, inventory management, and financial control are also covered. Explore some of the special issues facing small business owners and managers: technology, crime, risk management, family business, ethics, and the global marketplace. No credit toward a degree in business.
