BUKD-X 573 Business and Climate Change Law and Policy

Course examines systems that drive climate change, as well as the interactional between international law, federal, state, and local regulation, including incentives that promote carbon neutrality and climate action. Students will explain how climate change impacts business; consider alternative energy models, and assess trends in law and policy relating to environmental, social, and economic dimensions of climate change. Mitigation, adaptation, and loss and damage will be discussed, together with the expanding influence of business at the UN climate meetings.
