BUKD-F 742 International Financial Management

In this class we will learn about the differences between domestic and international finance in the context of exchange rates, trade and investments, and markets and institutions. By the end of this course, students will be able to use parity conditions to predict exchange rates; learn how the global financial system and the macroeconomic environment such as the balance of payments contribute to crises and trade wars; implement currency arbitrage for investors and foreign exchange hedging strategies for multinational companies (MNCs) using currency derivatives; evaluate international investment decisions from the perspective of MNCs.
