BUKD-X500 New Product Management

The ability to solve problems creatively and generate change is a recognized standard of success and plays an important role in gaining a competitive advantage in many areas of business management. However, can creativity be taught? Can firms apply structured frameworks to systematically generate creative solutions? In this course we will first debunk few myths about creativity and explore what makes certain ideas creative. Then, we will cover the essence of the systematic approach to creativity and how embracing constraints could be extremely helpful in challenging our own assumptions and mindset to generate creative solutions.
