BUKD-N563 Venture Concept Development

  • 12 weeks
  • 3.00 credits
  • Prerequisite(s): Core 1

Developing a viable venture concept requires a combination of inspiration and disciplined exploration, N563 focuses on the genesis of the idea and setting a plan for validation and business model development. This allows entrepreneurs to move to venture launch with a better understanding of the uncertainty they will need to resolve to launch and grow their startup. For general KD students with an interest in venturing, this course is designed to help you think through the components of ideation and early concept development to be able to launch your venture in the future. You likely have entered the program with an idea (or many) about a venture you want to start or you may want to learn about ideation and come up with an idea for a venture. This course should put you on a trajectory so that by the program’s conclusion you will be able to choose which idea is most viable, demonstrate traction, and pitch that idea to investors and customers. N563 also helps you build your toolkit for future entrepreneurial endeavors, whether within or outside an existing organization.
