The individuals ultimately tasked with formulating and implementingdecisions that affect how their organizations perform are the executives thatcompromise the C-Suite and Board of Directors – that is, firms’ strategicleaders. This course will explore the role in firm decision-making andperformance played by both behavioral and discretionary factors associated withthese strategic leaders as well as various governance mechanisms. Differencesin strategic leadership and governance across institutional and regulatorycontexts will also be considered. This course is an interactive and discussion centered course, where studentswill have an opportunity to analyze and critically discuss legal and ethicalsituations and issues that businesses and their stakeholders face.
