In deciding to do the MSA program, I had to turn down a full time job offer after my internship at the end of my junior year of college. I got offered a full time job, which was great, but I had to turn it down on the spot. But so happy that I decided to get my MSA degree. Looking at my life right now, I couldn't imagine going back to school to get my degree.

I'm so happy that I got my MSA degree from Kelley when I did. I think if I even went back part time, I would have to say bye to my social life and certainly especially during busy season here, putting in some weekends and some late nights. It would be really, really hard to work and do school like that.

The MSA degree is a program that you go into after you finish your undergrad degree. It's a one year program. It gives you you're masters in accounting right after you graduate. I was able to achieve real world experience within the program. You're doing a consulting project. I was working in a team and then we were meeting with a client, and that's exactly what I'm doing every day.

I didn't realize it at the time, but if I mean exactly what I'm doing now, I think that the MSA degree certainly helped my success that I've had so far because I was able to get some positive feedback from my manager specifically. She was happy with the way I could build rapport with clients and I was able to gain the trust of my team and be able to travel on my own to a different client site and work by myself there directly with the client in a different city.
