May 2026 Kelley Senior Send-Off
May graduates will have the opportunity to be recognized at one of two ceremonies taking place on Saturday, May 9. The first ceremony begins at 9 a.m., and the second begins at noon. Students with last names beginning with A through M are automatically assigned to the 9 a.m. ceremony. Students with last names beginning with N through Z are automatically assigned to the noon ceremony.
Please note: Students eligible to participate in the Kelley Senior Send-Off will receive important registration information from the Kelley Undergraduate Program to their IU email address at the end of January. It is critical that students complete the registration form by Tuesday, March 24. Successfully submitting the registration form by the March 24 deadline ensures their name will be individually recognized as they walk across the stage.
We recommend planning travel around being available for either of the ceremonies, since students will be able to request a switch and we do our best to honor them as space permits. Although students are automatically assigned a ceremony as a starting point, if they are interested in participating in either ceremony, they still need to complete the registration form.

Kelley Senior Send-Off is a focused recognition event for Kelley School of Business graduates. Each graduating Kelley student's name is read aloud as they greet the dean on stage. IU Commencement celebrates all Indiana University graduates. With thousands of graduates, it is not possible to read their names during the ceremony.
Kelley Senior Send-Off is a formal event and students should wear business formal attire. Suits are not required. Do not bring your cap and gown—those are reserved for IU Commencement.
For our December ceremony, there is only one event time and no tickets are distributed, so you can bring however many guests you'd like.
For May ceremonies, your ceremony time will be assigned and a registration form will be sent to confirm your assignment. You can request to switch into the other ceremony, and requests will be honored as space permits. Please discuss the options with family and friends who want to attend.
Please submit your ADA request with registration. Kelley staff and the IU event team will work together to accommodate the request.
