Alison Miron

Director of Student Life

Hi! I am lucky enough to serve as the director of Student Life here at the Kelley School of Business. I'm originally from Wisconsin and attended UW–Madison, where I received my Bachelor of Science—double-majoring in History and Human Development and Family Studies—with a Certificate in Education and Educational Services. I went right to graduate school at Michigan State University, graduating with my master's in student affairs administration in 2019. I started my current role in December 2022 and spend my time working closely with Kelley Student Government, executing large-scale programs including Induction and Senior Send-Off, and providing strategic direction for the team. When I'm not on campus for a late-night program or weekend event, I'm usually working towards my goal of reading 100 books per year, watching college sports, or chasing my friends and family around the country for quality time, with a Culvers Kids’ Meal in the passenger seat. In the most ideal circumstances, those hobbies are accompanied by my husband Dillon and/or our two cats, Fred and George.

Associate Director of Student Life

Hello! I am the associate director of Student Life. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana, where I studied history and secondary education. I loved my college experience and involvement so much that I decided I would change career paths. I served as an educational leadership consultant for my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, and after traveling, I received my master’s degree in higher student affairs from Eastern Illinois, where I worked in Civic Engagement and Volunteerism and Admissions. I started my IU career at the O’Neill School as an assistant director in Career Services and found my way back into student life. At Kelley, I oversee our Open for Business programs and REACH sessions, support our 100+ Kelley Student Organizations (KSOs), advise our Professional Fraternity Council (PFC), and support our Kelley Kickstart program. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, our daughter, and two dogs. I love music, cars, photography, good food, and traveling.

Assistant Director of Student Life

Hi! I serve as an assistant director of Student Life. I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a two-time IU graduate, earning my bachelor’s in informatics from the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering and my master's in strategic management from Kelley. My student affairs journey began in Residential Life, where I spent three years managing Briscoe Residence Hall before transitioning here to Kelley. In this position, I oversee a range of high-impact programs, including Kelley Kickstart, Sweet and Artful, I-Core Celebration, and Sophomore Professional Week. I also provide involvement coaching, manage corporate funding, and serve as an advisor for five student organizations. In my free time, I stay connected to my community through volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and spending time with my Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., brothers. When I'm not cheering on the Green Bay Packers, you'll find me hanging out with my pitbull terrier, Duke; eating at Chipotle; or diving into my favorite hobbies of photography, web development, and crafting custom Greek paddles.

Assistant Director of Student Life

Hello! I serve as an assistant director of Student Life. I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and attended Indiana University through the GROUPS Scholars Program, earning my Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management. In undergrad, I had a great tenure working for IU Recreational Sports and as a resident assistant in Read Quad. My student employment earned me the Undergraduate Student Staff Award in 2024, which inspired me to pursue my master's in higher education and student affairs, graduating in 2026. During grad school, I served as the GA for Late Nite in the IMU and spent a summer as a house director at Stanford University leading high school programs. Now at Kelley, I oversee programs like Camp Kelley, provide involvement coaching, and manage corporate funds. Outside of work I enjoy indulging in the arts, eating great food, listening to loud music, blowing too much money on clothes, or doing something creative.

Student Life Coordinator
mazcui@iu.edu

Hi! I joined the Student Life Team as the student life coordinator in October 2024. I support students by planning events and creating meaningful campus experiences. I am passionate about mentoring young adults and helping students grow personally and professionally as they prepare for graduation and future careers. My background in education, leadership, and student engagement allows me to connect with students in a supportive and encouraging way. I value creating opportunities for students to build community, develop leadership skills, and make lasting memories during their time at Indiana University. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in secondary education. I spent 15 years teaching high school mathematics in Martinsville, Indiana. Prior to that, I had the incredible opportunity to stay home for 16 years as a full-time mom, investing my time and energy into my children’s many activities and sporting events. Being a mom is my proudest accomplishment, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be fully present during those years. Outside of work, I enjoy playing pickleball, visiting my grown children, and spending time outdoors.
